Lindy is a registered Psychologist dedicated to providing specialist care to children aged 0-18, and their families. A mother of twins, Lindy understands the challenges that come with parenting, and is realistic in the strategies she adopts in therapy.
Lindy has over 8 years of clinical experience in the private and public sector providing assessment and diagnosis, individual therapy, parenting support, school and daycare support.
Lindy works within multi disciplinary environments and collaborates with medical (Paediatricians and GP's), Allied Health (Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists), and educational professionals, Lindy is actively involved in the professional community.
Highly experienced in conducting Psychological assessments with children and adolescents, Lindy has expertise in a range of childhood disorders such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Learning difficulty, Anxiety and Depression.
Lindy encompasses evidence based practice and interventions that are tailored to each child's individual needs. Lindy has a background in Applied Behaviour Analysis, designing and implementing individualized behaviour support programs to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder aged 0-5. In her practice, Lindy supports parents to help establish appropriate patterns of behaviour, and with her in depth knowledge of human development, supports children struggling with self esteem, social, and emotional difficulties reach their full potential.
